Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (2) 36-hole pieces, (4) 12-hole pieces, (4) 6-hole pieces and (4) corner pieces.
Connect pieces to form a square as follows: 36-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 36-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece.
Insert 20 large pegs into every other hole along each side of assembled loom -80 working pegs placed. Insert one contrast color small peg in upper right hand corner for slip knot.
PILLOW (make 2 - 1 for Front and 1 for Back)
Set up the warp with 1 strand of A across the 20 pegs placed across two sides of the loom.
Weave weft with 1 strand of B.
Leave 12 in. (30.5 cm) tail of weft yarn at the last peg worked.
Remove piece from loom.
FINISHING
With yarn needle provided with loom, and with wrong sides facing, sew Front and Back together around 3 sides using blanket stitch. Stuff Pillow with fiberfill and blanket stitch remaining side closed. |
