Two Stitch Knit Necklace

GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

NECKLACE
Leaving a 9 in. (23 cm) long yarn tail, cast on 2 stitches.
Row 1: Slip 1 stitch, knit 1 stitch.
Row 2: Slip 1 stitch, purl 1 stitch.
Rows 3-40: Repeat Rows 1 and 2.
Bind off leaving a 9 in. (23 cm) long yarn tail.

FINISHING
Knot tails together. Trim ends.

Very easy pattern. I have a new born and I plan on making one of these in several colors so I can still wear necklaces and not worry about hurting or scratching my son's face.
