GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
STITCH EXPLANATION: Adjustable Ring Method Wrap yarn around index finger. Insert hook into ring on finger, yarn over and draw up a loop, then ch 1. Carefully slip ring from finger and work stitches of first rnd into ring. When first rnd is complete gently, but firmly, pull tail to tighten center of ring. |

SMALL BOWL Make an adjustable ring. Rnd 1: Work 6 sc into ring; join with sl st in first sc. Rnd 2: Ch 1. Working through back loop only, *sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 9 sts at the end of this rnd. Fasten off.
LARGE BOWL Make an adjustable ring. Rnd 1: Work 6 sc into ring; join with sl st in first sc - 6 sts at the end of this rnd. Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around; join with sl st in first sc - 12 sts at the end of this rnd. Rnd 3: Ch 3. Working through back loop only, dc in next 2 sc, 2 dc in next sc, (dc in next 3 sc, 2 dc in next sc) twice; join with sl st in first dc - 15 sts at the end of this rnd. Fasten off.
FINISHING Tuck yarn ends into sts. |

Rating this as a 1 since the pattern and yarn are okay, but agree are overpriced. Try holding a few strands of
either Lion's cotton yarn or
Vanna's Choice together with some white no. 10 crochet thread for a similar effect.
In all fairness to Lion the price must reflect the use of the Martha S. brand name, as her entire product line both here and elese where tend to be over priced. Wouldn't mind seeing her product line here discontinued in favor of something more affordable if/when possible. It's just too expensive !!
