Loom Woven Trivet
Lion Brand® Martha Stewart CraftsTM/MC Mambo
GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
NOTES: Follow loom manual instructions on WEAVING for how to set up the warp, weave the weft, and remove weaving from the loom.

Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (4) 12-hole pieces, (4) 6-hole pieces and (4) corner pieces.
Connect pieces to form a square as follows: 6-hole piece > 12-hole piece > corner piece > 6-hole piece > 12-hole piece > corner piece > 6-hole piece > 12-hole piece > corner piece > 6-hole piece > 12-hole piece > corner piece.
Insert 8 large pegs into every third hole along each side of assembled loom - 32 working pegs placed.
Insert one contrast color small peg in upper right hand corner for slip knot.
TRIVET
Set up warp with 1 strand of yarn across the 8 pegs placed across two sides of the loom.
Weave weft with 1strand of yarn across the 8 pegs on the remaining two sides of the loom.
Leave 12 in. (30.5 cm) tail of weft yarn at the last peg worked.
Remove piece from loom.
FINISHING
Using crochet hook provided with loom, weave yarn ends into the fabric of the Trivet. |

| This yarn is VERY hard to knit with - the square trivet turned out fine but again, difficult to knit with as it's so bulky. Made a nice padded mat for my tea mug.
