NECKLACE
With one strand each of A and B held together, wrap a foam ball as if winding a ball of yarn, wrapping several times in one direction, then changing direction every few wraps. When ball is completely covered, cut yarn. Thread yarn end into a blunt needle, then weave yarn end under wraps. Repeat with remaining balls.
Insert knitting needle through each covered ball, between wraps, to make a hole. Cut a 36 in. (91.5 cm) long strand of A, and thread into blunt needle. String covered balls onto strand.
Cut a 36 in. (91.5 cm) long strand of A, and thread into blunt needle. Wrap strand around stringing yarn between balls for 1 in. (2.5 cm). To end off, insert needle through wraps to conceal yarn end.
Repeat wrapping between remaining balls.
Cut three 60 in. (152.5 cm) lengths of A. Knot strands together at one end. Divide strands into 3 groups of 2 strands each. Braid the strands for 28 in. (71 cm). Tie ends of stringing yarn to ends of braid. |

Another door knocker necklace, Lion Yarn?
Actually, since you seem to be promoting this as a child's craft, I gave it an extra star.
But if you really want it as a serious adult accesory, I think a few changes are needed. Smaller balls, and perhaps a different 'chain'?
