STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased.
FLOWERS (make 3 - 1 each with A, B and C)
Ch 10. Row 1: Work 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc in next 2 ch, 2 hdc in next 3 ch, 2 dc in last 3 ch - 18 sts at the end of this row. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Roll Flower into a spiral. With yarn tail, sew spiral together.
Fasten off.
LEAF
With D, ch 3. Row 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc in last ch - 4 sc at the end of this row. Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc - 6 sc at the end of this row. Rows 3-7: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across. Row 8: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog - 4 sts at the end of this row. Row 9: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Row 10: Ch 1, turn, (sc2tog) twice - 2 sts at the end of this row. Row 11: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Row 12: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog - 1 st at the end of this row.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
With needle and thread, sew Flowers to Leaf. Weave in ends. Sew pinback to back of Leaf.

I ended up not making the leaf but the flowers are so easy and turn out awesome. I believe I'm now going to make several of them and put them on a hair clip.
