Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

sc2tog (sc 2 sts together) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased.

NOTES:

1. Work in continuous rnds; do not join or turn unless otherwise instructed.
2. Work with 2 strands of yarn held tog.

BODY
With 2 strands of A held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around - 18 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around - 24 sc.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around - 30 sc.
Rnds 6-15: Sc in each sc around.
Following package instructions, attach safety eyes in Rnd 12.
Shape Left Side
Rnd 16: Sc in first 14 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in last 14 sc - 32 sc.
Rnd 17: Sc in first 15 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in last 15 sc - 34 sc.
Rnd 18: Sc in first 16 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in last 16 sc - 36 sc.
Rnd 19: Sc in first 17 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in last 17 sc - 38 sc.
Rnd 20: Sc in first 18 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in last 18 sc - 40 sc.
Rnd 21: Sc in first 19 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in last 19 sc - 42 sc.
Rnd 22: Sc in first 20 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in last 20 sc - 44 sc.
Fasten off.

FANG
With 2 strands of B held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 4 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around - 6 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around - 8 sc.
Fasten off.

SPIKES (make 4 - 1 each with C, D, E and F)
With 2 strands of yarn held tog, ch 2.
Rnds 1-4: Rep Rnds 1-4 of Fang - 8 sc at the end of Rnd 4.
Rnd 5: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around - 10 sc.
Fasten off.

FINISHING
Stuff Body then sew closed. Lightly stuff Spikes and sew, evenly spaced, across left side of Body. With 2 strands of C, embroider straight st mouth on face. Lightly stuff Fang and sew below mouth. Weave in ends.
