STITCH EXPLANATION: | sc2tog (sc 2 sts together) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased. |
NOTES: 1. Work in continuous rnds; do not join or turn unless otherwise instructed.
2. Work with 2 strands of yarn held tog.

HEAD AND BODY
Beg at top of head, with 2 strands of A held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around - 18 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around - 24 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around - 30 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc; rep from * around - 36 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnds 7-14: Sc in each sc around.
Following package instructions, attach safety eyes in Rnd 10.
Rnd 15: *Sc2tog; rep from * around - 18 sts at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 16: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 17: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around - 24 sc.
Rnds 18-23: Sc in each sc around.
Stuff firmly, and continue to stuff as piece is completed.
Rnd 24: *Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around - 18 sts.
Rnd 25: *Sc2tog, sc in next st; rep from * around - 12 sts.
Rnd 26: *Sc2tog; rep from * around - 6 sts.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through sts of last rnd and pull to gather.
HORNS (make 2)
With 2 strands of B held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 4 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 3: Sc in first sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, sc in last sc - 6 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5: Sc in first 2 sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, sc in last 2 sc - 8 sc.
Rnd 6: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 7: Sc in first 3 sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, sc in last 3 sc - 10 sc.
Rnd 8: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 9: Sc in first 4 sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, sc in last 4 sc - 12 sc.
Fasten off.
EARS (make 2)
With 2 strands of C held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in first ch.
Rnd 2: Sc in first sc, 2 hdc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc, 2 hdc in next sc, sc in last sc - 8 sts.
Fasten off.
HAIR PIECE (make 2)
With 2 strands of D held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.
Fasten off.
TAIL
Join 2 strands of C with a slip st at lower back of body.
Ch 28.
Row 1: Sl st in each ch across.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew one Hair Piece to top of Head. Stuff Horns and sew to top of head, one on each side of Hair. Sew an Ear to each side of Head, below Horns. Sew remaining Hair Piece to end of Tail. With white yarn, embroider a straight st mouth below eyes. Weave in ends.
