GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

sc2tog (sc 2 sts together) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased.

NOTES:

1. Work in continuous rnds; do not join or turn unless otherwise instructed.
2. Work with 2 strands of yarn held tog.

OUTER EYE
With 2 strands of A held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around - 18 sc.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around - 24 sc.
Fasten off.

INNER EYE
With 2 strands of B held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.
Fasten off.

BODY
With 2 strands of D held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around - 18 sc.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around - 24 sc.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around - 30 sc.
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc; rep from * around - 36 sc.
Rnds 7-12: Sc in each sc around.
Place Inner Eye on top of the Outer Eye. Attach safety eye, inserting stem of safety eye through center of Inner Eye, Outer Eye, and then into Rnd 9. Stuff Body firmly.
Rnd 13: *Sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc; rep from * around - 30 sts.
Rnd 14: *Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts; rep from * around - 24 sts.
Rnd 15: *Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * around - 18 sts.
Rnd 16: *Sc2tog, sc in the next st; rep from * around - 12 sts.
Stuff firmly.
Rnd 17: *Sc2tog; rep from * around - 6 sts.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through sts of last rnd and pull to gather.

ANTENNAS (make 2)
With 2 strands of C held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.
Rnds 3 and 4: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5: *Sc2tog; rep from * around - 6 sts.
Stuff firmly.
Rnds 6-11: Sc in each sc around.
Fasten off.

FEET (make 4)
With 2 strands of B held tog, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.
Rnds 3-7: Sc in each sc around.
Fasten off.

FINISHING
Stuff Antennas and sew to top of Body. Stuff Legs and sew to Body. Weave in ends.
