Directional Colors Scarf
Lion Brand® Amazing®
GAUGE: 18 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: kfb (knit into front and then back)
An increase worked as follows:
1. Knit the next st through the front loop, but do not remove the st from your left hand needle.
2. Knit the same st once more, this time inserting your needle through the back loop of the st. You will have created 2 loops (sts) on your right hand needle.
3. Drop the st from your left hand needle – you have increased 1 st.
|
NOTES: 1. Scarf is made from a series of triangles that are attached to each other as you knit them.
2. All sl sts should be slipped as if to knit. Move your working yarn to the back before slipping a st.

| Love this scarf! Beautiful color changes with Amazing and easy once you get the "short row" method. Made 5 so far - in photo left to right Glacier Bay, Constellation and Wildflowers. Has to be one of my favorite patterns ever!
