Two Ball Hat
Lion Brand® Superwash Merino Cashmere
GAUGE: 18 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Even at the correct gauge, this hat is simply too small or the woman in the picture has the world's smallest head. Very easy to knit but since the yarn skein is small, if you increase the size of the hat, you can run out of yarn easily. (And I have to order the yarn, it is not available anywhere.)
I start with circular needles and change to double pointed as it decreases.
I'm giving it 2 stars because it is cute.
