Rosy Striped Cowl
Lion Brand® Superwash Merino Cashmere
GAUGE: 11 1/2 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Cowl is worked in joined rnds. Turn at beg of each rnd. At the end of each rnd, work a sl st to join last st to first st.
2. If you find it difficult to join the beg ch into a ring without twisting the ch, Rnd 1 can be worked as a row, then joined into a rnd, as follows: Ch 68, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; join with sl st in first sc. When weaving in ends, use the beginning tail to sew ends of first row together. Proceed to Rnd 2.
3. To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete st.

| When finished very pretty, and nice yarn suggested. I agree it is easier to make it as scarf and then stitch a seam. The constant changing of colors was cumbersome. Don't think I will make again.
