Smooth Sailing Ribbed Scarf
Lion Brand® Amazing®
GAUGE: 24 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) in K2, p2 Rib. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

I love this yarn and the scarf is very cute, but the picture here is deceiving. The scarf in the picture looks long, but the three skeins the pattern calls for will not produce this result. I will likely make several more of these scarves in other colors, but it does take 4 skeins. I also prefer to modify the CO stitches by two for symmetry so the WS row starts and end with knit stitches.
Overall, great yarn and look.
