POM-POM (make 2)
Wrap A around 3 fingers about 40 times for back of Penguin. Cut yarn. Wrap B around fingers, next to A, about 10 times for front of Penguin. Cut yarn. Slide a strand of A under wraps and knot. Clip loops at opposite end. Fluff pom-pom and trim ends evenly.
FINISHING
Thread 1 strand of A into blunt needle, leaving a long tail. Thread needle gently through centers of pom-poms. Knot each end of A close to center of pom-poms. Trim ends.
Scarf
Cut 3 strands of C, each 18 in. (46 cm) long. Knot strands together about 1 in. (2.5 cm) from end. Braid strands, knot ends. Trim both ends to desired length.
Beak
Cut 1 strand of D about 12 in. (30.5 cm) long. Fold strand in half, knot just below fold. Thread ends of D into blunt needle. Thread needle through center one pom-pom, from front to back. Knot ends together close to center of pom-pom. Trim ends.
