NOTES: 1. The chain-3 at the beginning of each row counts as the first double crochet in the row.
2. At the beginning of each row, do not work a double crochet into the last double crochet of the previous row.
3. At the end of each row, work a double crochet in the top chain of the chain-3 at the beginning of the previous row.

SCARF
Chain 9.
Row 1: Double crochet in 4th chain from hook and in each chain across - 6 double crochet stitches and the beginning chain-3, for a total of 7 stitches worked in this row.
Row 2: Chain 3, turn, double crochet in each double crochet across, double crochet in top of beginning chain.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures about 64 in. (162.5 cm) from beginning.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.

| Made this for my sister in-law. I used homespun, alternating every 2 rows in blue and an off white. Then for the edging I put the opposite color in a single crochet all around. Turned out BEAUTIFUL!
