Marshmallow Tweed Cowl

GAUGE:

8 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

COWL
Ch 17.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next ch, *sc in next ch, dc in next ch: rep from * across - 16 sts at the end of this row.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, *sc in next dc, dc in next sc; rep from * across.
Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 24 in. (61 cm) from beginning.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

FINISHING
Sew short edges of piece together to form a tube. Weave in ends.

to bad this pattern doesn't include a button fashion so you don't have to pull it over your head.
