NOTES: Yarn amount is sufficient to make multiple Flowers.

FLOWER
Leaving a 10 in. (25.5 cm) tail, make an adjustable ring as follows:
1.Wrap yarn around index finger.
2.Insert hook into ring on finger, yarn over and draw up a loop. Carefully slip ring from finger and work the stitches of Rnd 1 into the ring.
Rnd 1: *Ch 2, double crochet into ring, ch 2, slip stitch into ring (petal made); repeat from * 4 more times – 5 petals made.
Fasten off. Set aside without closing ring.
FINISHING
Make a slip knot in elastic headband and pull until knot becomes small and tight. With needle and thread, sew through knot to secure. Pull knot through center of Flower. Using tail, pull center of Flower tight around slip knot. Knot tail to secure.
Weave in ends. |
