FLOWER (Small (Large))
Note: Instructions are for small Flower, with instructions for large Flower in parentheses.
Leaving a 10 in. (25.5 cm) tail, make an adjustable ring as follows:
1.Wrap yarn around index finger.
2.Insert hook into ring on finger, yarn over and draw up a loop. Carefully slip ring from finger and work the stitches of Rnd 1 into the ring.
Rnd 1: *Ch 2 (3), double crochet into ring, ch 2 (3), slip stitch into ring (petal made); repeat from * 4 more times – 5 petals made.
Fasten off. Set aside without closing ring.
SINGLE MOHAIR FLOWER HEADBAND
With A, make one large Flower. Using tail, pull center of Flower tight. Tie Flower tail to elastic headband. Weave in ends.
MOHAIR TRIO FLOWER HEADBAND
With A, make 1 small Flower and with B, make 2 small Flowers.
Using tails, pull centers of Flowers tight. Tie Flower tails to elastic headband. Weave in ends. |
