Embroidery Using colors as desired, embroider lazy daisy flowers with French knot centers, straight st stems and lazy daisy leaves onto Front.
Hold Front and Back with wrong sides together and join as follows:
Join yarn with slip st anywhere along edge.

Square Sachet

GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

BACK
Ch 21.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 20 sc.
Rows 2-22: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across.
Fasten off.

FRONT
Make same as Back.

FINISHING
Embroidery
Hold Front and Back with wrong sides together and join as follows:
Join yarn with slip st anywhere along edge.
Ch 1. Working through both thicknesses, sc evenly all the way around the Front and Back, working 2 sc in each corner and stuffing with fiberfill and lavender before finishing seam. Fasten off.
Hanging Loop
Join yarn with sl st at top corner of Sachet and ch 15. Sl st in same place to complete the loop, then fasten off.
Weave in ends.

Since this is such a fast and simple pattern, I tried my own variation on it. I made it once according to the instructions, then again my own way.

Ch 27
ROW 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, (Sc in next ch, dc in following ch) across, ending with sc in last ch.
ROW 2: Ch 1, turn. (Dc in first sc, sc in following dc) across, ending with sc in last dc.
ROWS 3-50: Repeat ROW 2.

Finishing: Fold in half and sc through side seams. Fill with dried lavender and uncooked rice. Sc through the top seam, then ch 15 for hanging loop, sl st in same place to join. Fasten off, weave in ends.
