Felted Armwarmers
Lion Brand® Fishermen's Wool® - Vanna's Glamour®
GAUGE: 16 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS), before felting.
The above gauge is provided as a reference - the felting process will affect the finished size. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Due to the nature of the felting process, the size of your Armwarmers may not match the pattern measurements exactly.
2. Armwarmers are worked in St st (k on RS, p on WS) back and forth in rows and then seamed before felting.
3. Before felting, Armwarmer should measure about 12 in. (30.5 cm) wide and 13 in. (33 cm) long.
4. Follow charts from right to left on RS rows, from left to right on WS rows; carry color not in use across WS of work.
5. Charts show where sts are decreased, follow written instructions for how to work the decreases.

| I made something similar for wearing when my macaw is on my arm. Those big guys have claws! I used Lion Wool, felted it, and it still itches!
