Sequoia Shrug
Lion Brand® Tweed Stripes®
GAUGE: 12 sc + 16 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Large hook is used to create an open fabric that will easily stretch to fit a range of sizes.

| I love the yarn and I love the stitch. However, I'm also a 1X and it was way too small around (the length was good. It also doesn't lay flat in the back. I'm going to try one more time using a larger hook and adding a few more stitches per row. I think it's worth one more try.
