Knit Little Bear

Lion Brand« Superwash Merino Cashmere

GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

Kfb (knit into front and then back)
An increase worked as follows:
1. Knit the next st through the front loop, but do not remove the st from your left hand needle.
2. Knit the same st once more, this time inserting your needle through the back loop of the st. You will have created 2 loops (sts) on your right hand needle.

NOTES:

1. Bear is knit with small needles to create a dense fabric, suitable for a stuffed toy.
2. All pieces are worked in St st (k on RS, p on WS).
3. All pieces are worked flat for ease in knitting.

Reviewed by Jennifer Howes on 2014-03-24 *****
This bear was a lot of fun to make and came out pretty well, even for a very beginning knitter like myself. This was my first project that wasn't a simple scarf or balnket, and I am very pleased with the result. I substituted Vanna's Choice yarn for the pattern yarn, which was discontinued, but I think this worked just as well.
