Fresh Greens Hat
Lion Brand® Hometown USA®
GAUGE: 9 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) over St st worked in the rnd (k every rnd). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Fresh Greens Hat made in Washington Denim color Reviewed by on 2013-04-28 |

| This was my very first project using double pointed needles. I used US9 DPN due to a misread of the pattern (which recommends US13). My finished product I love and it only took me one day, however, it's a bit tight on my head and is going to be donated to a younger person with a smaller head. I plan on trying this pattern again with the proper size needles to see if that will help it fit my own head a little better. Also have to be careful with the Hometown USA yarn, any "catches" by the needles do show in the finished product. With practice and going a little slower I think I can avoid that in the future.
