GAUGE:
19 sts + 38 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
1. Tank is worked with 2 strands held tog. For sizes M, 1X, and 2X only, wind one cone into 2 separate balls before beginning. Store each wound ball in a re-sealable bag to keep yarn untangled.
2. Back and Front are worked in Garter st (k every row).
3. 'Work even' in the pattern means to work without increasing or decreasing.

First time reviewer...loved the look of this so bought the kit. Was very disappointed when I opened to find that this is not yarn, it's thread. Impossible to handle. Because I like the look of the pattern, I hope to be able to find a substitute for the yarn.
