GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | sc2tog (sc 2 sts together) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased. |
NOTES: 1. Pillow is worked in 2 pieces, the Front and Back. The pieces are seamed and stuffed to make the Pillow.
2. Each piece is worked beginning at the lower tip and working upwards. Near the top, each piece is divided into two sides, and each side is worked separately to shape top of heart.

FRONT
Beginning at lower tip of Heart, ch 2.
Row 1: Work 2 sc in first ch.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each sc across - 4 sc at the end of this row.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc across to last sc, 2 sc in last sc - 6 sc at the end of this row.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across.
Rows 6-37: Rep Rows 4 and 5 - 38 sc at the end of Row 37.
Shape First Side
Row 38: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 19 sc; leave remaining sts unworked.
Row 39: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in each sc across to last 2 sc, sc2tog - 17 sc at the end of this row.
Row 40: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
Row 41: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in each sc across to last 2 sc, sc2tog - 15 sc. Row 42: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
Row 43: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in each sc across to last 2 sc, sc2tog - 13.
Rows 44-46: Rep Row 43 -7 sc at the end of Row 46.
Fasten off.
Shape Second Side
Join yarn with slip st in first unworked st of Row 37.
Row 38: Ch 1, sc in each sc across - 19 sc.
Rep Rows 39-46. Fasten off.
BACK
Make same as Front.
FINISHING
Sew Front to Back, leaving an opening along for stuffing. Stuff Pillow with Fiberfill. Sew opening closed. Weave in ends.

| It felt nearly impossible to adjust to the fun fur at first, and if you make a mistake it's ludicrously difficult to backtrack. That all said, the pillow I made turned out decently (I tried to crochet all the way around it; another difficulty presented by the fun fur) and I think that subsequent attempts would produce improved results. I made mine in 2 days, and I'd say that it overall makes a nice little gift.
