FINISHING
Weave in ends. If using buttons, use sewing needle and thread to sew them onto knitted piece.
Lay fabric piece onto a flat surface with WS facing up. Lay batting, then card stock centered onto fabric. Apply a strip of double sided tape along top edge of card stock. Fold fabric over tape and, working from center out, press to secure. Rep on lower edge of card stock.
Rep for sides, trimming fabric at corners to keep it flat.
Turn cardstock over and arrange knitted piece neatly on top. Use stapler to secure your work in place, as close to the edge as possible so staples won't show from the front! Work in the same way you did as when taping the fabric. Start at the top center and work from center out, followed by the bottom and then sides.
Slide cardstock into frame.
Slide the frame backing into place.
