Wedding Favor Bags
Lion Brand® Vanna's Glamour®
GAUGE: 24 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st worked in the rnd (k every rnd). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Materials are sufficient to make multiple bags.
2. Bag is worked in St st worked in the rnd (k every rnd) to form a tube. The lower edge of the tube (the cast-on edge) is then flattened and sewn closed for the bottom of the bag.
3. Bags are shown with a crochet picot edge worked along bound-off edge of bag. As an option, instructions for a knit picot bind off are included.

BAG
With A, cast on 36 sts. Divide sts onto 3 needles. Place marker for beg of rnd. Join by working the first st on left hand needle with the working yarn from the right hand needle and being careful not to twist sts.
Work in St st worked in the rnd (k every rnd) until piece measures about 2 3/4 in. (7 cm) from beg.
Next (Eyelet) Rnd: *K1, yarn over, knit 2 sts together; rep from * around.
Knit 4 rnds.
Crochet Edging Only
Note: If you would prefer to work a knit picot bind off, proceed to the next section of instructions.
Bind off, do not fasten off last st.
Sl last st onto crochet hook.
Edging Rnd: Join last st to first st with sl st, ch 1, sc in same st and next st inserting hook under both loops of bound off st, *ch 3, sl st in top of last sc made (picot made), sc in next 3 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
Optional Knit Picot Bind Off
Note: Use knitted cast-on or cable cast-on when working Row 1.
Row 1: Cast on 2 sts, bind off 4 sts, sl last st on right needle back to left needle.
Rep Row 1 until all sts are bound-off and one st remains on the right needle. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Flatten Bag and sew cast on edge closed. Weave in ends.
Twisted Cord
Cut one 48 in. (122 cm) length of B. Hold length together, fold in half and knot a few inches (cms) from each end. Slip one end over a doorknob and slip a knitting needle through the other end. Turn the needle clockwise to twist the strands until they are tightly twisted. Keeping the strands taut, fold the strands in half, remove the needle and allow the Cord to twist on itself.
Thread Cord through eyelet rnd. Knot ends of Cord. |

| I absolutely love this bag. It was a very quick and easy project. I plan on making several bags for stocking stuffers. Thank you for this adorable pattern.
