Amigurumi Easter Egg Reviewed by Linda on 2013-03-13 ****
I've made this pattern in various colors and color schemes; all turn out cute. The "fancier", variegated yarns make for eggs that look similar to the European/Polish painted eggs; just beautiful!

As far as the "pointy" end: I didn't really care for that, either. The way to get around/past that, I've found, is to just do 2 decreases at the top; making for 2 stitches instead of the 4, on the pattern. Four stitches "bunches" it, too much; especially if you crochet tightly. Weave in your ends, and it is fairly rounded, making it look more "egg"-like.
