Loop Stitch Pillow
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®
GAUGE:
13 sc = 8 in. (20.5 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
Loop St: Insert hook in indicated st and draw up a loop; form a loop in front of work as follows: Bring working yarn to the front; hold working yarn with finger or thumb of hand holding the hook. Leaving a loop of yarn in the front, bring working yarn to back of work. Insert hook in same st and draw up a loop - 3 loops on hook. Yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook to complete the st and lock the loop in place.
NOTES:
Pillow is crocheted in one piece with Loop sts on one half for the front and single crochet on other half for back.

Next Row (RS) (Folding Row): Ch 1, turn, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across. Back
Next Row: Ch 1, turn. Working through both loops, sc in each sc across.

Fasten off.
FINISHING
With RS facing, fold Pillow in half along Folding Row. Sew 2 sides closed, insert pillow form and finish sewing closed. Note: If desired, sew last side of Pillow closed with a separate strand of yarn. If you want to wash the Pillow, snip this last seam open for easy removal of the pillow form.
Weave in ends.

I just finished this pattern as a gift for my Mom, she loved it. I found the pattern easy to follow and the pillow turned out exactly as shown. I will be making this one again and again.
