Loom Woven Fireside Afghan
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®
GAUGE:
Square = about 12 x 12 in. (30.5 x 30.5 cm)
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL TO THIS PROJECT.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (2) 36-hole pieces, (4) 12-hole pieces, (4) 6-hole pieces, (4) corner pieces. Connect pieces to form a large square as follows: 36-hole piece > corner piece > 36-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece.
Insert a small peg into every other hole along one 36-hole piece and a small peg in each corner - 20 small pegs placed.
Repeat this peg set up around entire loom square - 80 small pegs placed. Place a contrast color small peg in upper right corner for slip knot.
