GAUGE:

2 1/4 pattern reps + 8 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

The beg end of Scarf has a straight edge, the opposite end a scalloped edge.

Copper Glow Scarf Reviewed by Jill Strickland on 2011-04-18 ****
Terrific pattern for this type of yarn. This pattern really shows the yarn well. This is a little wide for a scarf - it's more like a scarf/wrap (first picture, the white one.) It's very dressy with the with the Glamour yarn. But, for the second one, I started with a chain of 34 to not make it as wide and used the mohair weight 2 yarn. Also I went back to the first chain row, attached yarn and did the scallop pattern on it - on the second one both ends are scalloped. I like that finish.
