GAUGE: 20 single crochet by 17 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) with size J-10 (6 mm) hook BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Neckwarmer is extremely stretchy and is worn doubled around the neck

Chain 21.
Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across - 20
sts
Row 2: Chain 1, turn. Single crochet in each stitch across.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 24 inches [46 cm].
Fasten off, leaving 18-inch tail.
FINISHING Sew ends of band together. Weave in ends. |
