GAUGE: 6 sc + 6.5 rows = 4" (10 cm) with B on size P-15 (10 mm) hook BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

With B and larger hook, chain 31
Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, and in each chain across; chain 1, turn .
Rows 2 - 3: Single crochet into each single crochet across, chain 1, turn
Fasten off.
Rows 4-6: With 2 strands of A and smaller hook, single crochet into each single crochet across; chain 1, turn.
Fasten off
On other side of ear warmer:
With 2 strands of A and smaller hook, Single crochet into each single crochet across; chain 1, turn.
Next 2 rows: Single crochet into each single crochet across.
Fasten off.
