Simple Sports Band
Lion Brand® Lion® Cotton
GAUGE: 16 St sts + 24 rows = 4 inches square [10 cm] BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

WRISTBAND
Cast on 10 stitches
Row 1 Knit.
Repeat row 1 until band is 6 (7) inches [6 cm x 15 (18) cm]long. Bind off, leaving an end of
8 inches [20.5 cm] for sewing.
FINISHING
Thread the large-eyed blunt needle with the end of the yarn and sew the ends
of the wristband together. Weave
in end of yarn and trim. |
