GAUGE:
26 stitches = 4 inches [10 cm] in pattern stitch. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
This piece is knit in a ribbing that is 3 stitches wide.
SHOE COVER (make 2) Cast on 63 stitches. Row 1 *K3, p3 rep from * to end Row 2 **P3, k3 rep from * to end. Odd-numbered Rows 3-31 Rep row 1 Even-numbered Rows 4-32 Rep row 2 Row 33 Bind off 3 sts, ***P3, k3 rep from *** to end of row Row 34 Bind off 3 sts, **** K3, p3 rep from **** to end of
row Rows 35, 37, 39, 41 rep row 2 Rows 36, 38, 40, 42 rep row 1 Row 43 rep row 34 Row 44 rep row 33 Rows 45, 47, 49, 51, 53 rep row 1 Rows 46, 48, 50, 52, 54 rep row 2 Row 55 rep row 33 Row 56 rep row 34 Rows 57 and all odd rows rep row 2 Rows 58 and all even rows rep row 1 Knit until piece totals 14 inches [35.5 cm] in length.
Bind off all stitches.
FINISHING
Fold in half lengthwise. Sew edges of the large end
together to form the heel. Beginning at the point where
the piece starts to narrow. sew the top together until the small end
is reached.
Re-fold the top to form the toe so that the seam is in the
middle; sew the end closed.

I love this pattern. I travel alot, and made a pair for myself.....I liked them so much that I made a pair for all my children and husband. They are easy to wash and keeps my clothes clean while traveling! Love them.....great pattern!
