GAUGE:
16 sts + 32 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
kfb (knit in front and back) Knit next st without removing it from left needle, then k through back of same st - 1 st increased. sk2p Slip 1 as if to knit, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over - 2 sts decreased.
NOTES:
1. Cardigan body is knit sideways, from right sleeve to left sleeve.
2. The body is divided vertically to shape the neck and horizontally to create the front opening.
3. Side triangles are knit separately, then inset into each side of Cardigan.

Just finished it - very cute, but I had a problem figuring out where the 2 triangles went. The instructions just said join between front and back.
Also, I did a reverse single crochet around the edges to finish it off. Pattern was easy to follow. I am attaching photo to help you join the triangle. I would also put a marker on both sides of the front and back to indicate where the sleeve begins. Sizing seems to be accurate.
