BEAR
Following package directions, make one large pompom for head and one medium pom-pom for body.
Felting
Place one finished pompom into an old nylon stocking. Knot stocking just above pompom. Place second pompom into stocking and knot again. Wash pompom filled stocking by machine on a hot wash/cold rinse cycle with detergent and several pieces of clothing to agitate. Remove stocking from machine. Remove pompoms from stocking and roll between your hands to shape. Allow pompoms to dry completely.
MUZZLE
From felt, cut a 3/4 in. (2 cm) diameter circle.
EARS, ARMS, and LEGS
From felt, cut 6 D shaped pieces, with straight side about 1/2 in. (1.5 cm) long.
FINISHING
Glue head to body. With thread, embroider straight stitch nose onto Muzzle. Using blanket stitch, sew Muzzle and Ears to head, Arms and Legs to body. Apply a dot of puffy paint for each eye.
