Baby Blocks Afghan

Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease®

GAUGE:

12 stitches + 8 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in half double crochet, with 2 strands of yarn held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SQUARES (make 4 in each color)
With two strands of yarn held together, chain 20.
Row 1: Half double crochet in 3rd chain from hook and in each chain across – 19 stitches.
Rows 2-12: Chain 2, turn, half double crochet in each half double crochet across.
Fasten off.

FINISHING
Following diagram, sew Squares together. Weave in ends.

Baby Blocks Afghan Reviewed by Brittany Little on 2012-01-19 *****
I love this pattern ! It is so cute and, like other reviewers said, it really doesn't take that long to make. I was wondering how everyone else connected their squares? I was just curious in case I want to make another one of these. Thanks!
