Swashbuckling Scarf

GAUGE:

13 ch-3 sps = 8 in. (20.5 cm) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SCARF
Ch 28.
Row 1: Sc in 4th ch from hook, *ch 3, sc in next ch, ch 3, sk next 2 ch, sc in next ch; rep from * across - 13 ch-3 sps at the end of this row.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, sk first sc, *(sc, ch 3, sc) in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, sk next ch-3 sp; rep from * across, sc in turning ch-sp.
Rep last row until piece measures 140 in. (355.5 cm) from beginning.
Fasten off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
