GAUGE: About 8 1/2 x 57 in. (21.5 x 144.5 cm) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SCARF
Cast on 19 sts.
Row 1 (RS): K3, *p1, k3; rep from * to end of row.
Row 2: K1, *p1, k3; rep from * across to last 2 sts, p1, k1.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 until nearly all yarn has been used. Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. |

This works up pretty fast. The yarn has a soft bouncy feel and is nice and warm. I made my scarf in Cambridge Tweed (black with flecks of color). I made it to go with my leather Winnie The Pooh coat as it picks up the various colors in my coat. I live in Alaska and having a good warm long scarf is dearly needed. I like that the pattern is long enough to wrap around the neck a couple times for extra warmth! :o}
I will be buying more of this yarn for other projects.
