GAUGE:
9 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) over pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Brisbane Scarf-great pattern with a twist. Reviewed by Johanna Dunphy on 2011-12-26
This scarf knitted up beautifully! Unfortunately, I realized I didn't have enough yarn. So I ended up doing 20 rows of one color and 15 of another and turning into a mens infinity scarf. My fiance loves it, and he looks amazing in it!
