HEAD (make 2)
With A, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each st around 12 sts.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around 18 sts.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around 24 sts.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * around 30 sts.
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * around 36 sts.
Rnd 7: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts, rep from * around 42 sts.
Rnd 8: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 6 sts, rep from * around 48 sts.
Rnd 9: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 7 sts, rep from * around 54 sts.
Rnd 10: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 8 sts, rep from * around 60 sts.
Rnd 11: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 9 sts, rep from * around 66 sts.
Rnd 12: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 10 sts, rep from * around 72 sts.
Fasten off.
NOSE
With B, ch 2.
Rnds 1-3: Rep Rnds 1-3 of Head 18 sts.
Fasten off.
EARS (make 2)
With B, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 8 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each st around 16 sts.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around 24 sts.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around 32 sts.
FINISHING
With wrong sides of the Head pieces held together, and working through both thicknesses, join A with a sl st anywhere along outside edge. Work sc evenly spaced around to join pieces. At end of rnd, join with sl st to beg sc.
Ch 12 (for hanging loop), then join with sl st to beg ch. Fasten off.
Sew Nose to center of Head. With A, embroider straight sts for Nose detail. With black yarn, embroider French knot eyes. Fold each Ear in half to make a semi-circle. Sew around curved edge through both thicknesses, then sew Ears to Head.
Weave in ends.
