GAUGE:
15 sts + 21 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS), with larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Blanket Coat Reviewed by Barbara Hoglund on 2013-02-18
I was so disappointed in this piece when I finished it. It is definitely not for a short person. Vanna is 5'6"..... I am 5 foot............it is huge on me... I am a size 6 and this makes me look like a house....... too bad. A lot of work for nothing ..... Also, one other note.... and this is my fault as I didnt pay attention I guess, but the pattern calls for brown yarn as the border.......... in this photo Vanna's is in black... I think black would have looked better. I will rip this out and salvage all the yarn ....
