STITCH EXPLANATION:

sc2tog (sc 2 sts together) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook – 1 st decreased.

MUSHROOM
CAP
With A, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each st around – 10 sts.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around – 15 sts.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around – 20 sts.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * around – 25 sts.
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * around – 30 sts.
Rnd 7: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts, rep from * around – 35 sts.
Rnd 8: Sc in each st around – 35 sts.
Rnd 9: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 6 sts, rep from * around – 40 sts.
Rnd 10: Sc in each st around – 40 sts.
Rnd 11: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 7 sts, rep from * around – 45 sts.
Rnd 12: Sc in each st around – 45 sts.
Rnd 13: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 8 sts, rep from * around – 50 sts.
Rnds 14-30: Sc in each st around. Fasten off.

LARGE SPOT
With B, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each st around – 12 sts.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around – 18 sts. Fasten off.

MEDIUM SPOT
With B, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first chain. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each st around – 12 sts. Fasten off.

SMALL SPOT
With B, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Fasten off.

STEM
With B, ch 11.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across – 10 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 3 1/2 in. (9 cm) from beg. Fasten off. Fold Stem in half, so that first and last row meet for ‘top’ of Stem. Join B with sl st in one lower corner of Stem. Working through both thicknesses, sc evenly spaced around 3 sides of Stem to join. Work 2 sc in last corner. Fasten off.

FLOWER
With C, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch.
Rnd 2: (2 hdc, sl st) in each st around. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Flatten Cap. Sl Stem into Cap at open edge. Sew across edge through all thicknesses. Sew Spots to Cap. Sew Flower to Stem.
Hanging Loop
Join A with sl st to top of Cap. Ch 12, sl st in same st as join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

A super cute and easy pattern. I made mine for decoration only. Used different colors than called for to match my kitchen.
