GAUGE:
Triangle = about 3 1/2 in. (9 cm)
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

FINISHING
Inner doorstop
First, make a paper triangle template: On scrap paper, draw an 8 1/2 in. (22 cm) line for base of triangle. Mark center of line, then draw an 8 1/2 in. (22 cm) line up from center mark, perpendicular to base line. Draw a line from each end of base line to top of center line to create an equilateral triangle.
Mark 4 triangles onto wrong side of fabric by tracing around template. Cut out triangles along marked lines.
By hand or machine and using 1/4 in. (6 mm) seams, sew 3 triangles together along adjoining sides, to create a pyramid shape, open at the base. Pin 4th triangle to base and sew to pyramid along 2 edges. Stuff fabric shape with fiberfill, adding a handful of dried beans to center of stuffing. Sew remaining edge closed.
With crochet hook and A, sl st 3 large assembled triangles together along sides to create a pyramid shape. Slip crochet over stuffed fabric pyramid. Sl st remaining crocheted triangle to base.
