GAUGE: 16 stitches = about 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SCARF
Cast on 24 stitches.
Work in Garter stitch (knit every row) until almost all of the first ball of yarn has been used. Join the second ball and work until about 1 yard (1 meter) of yarn is left.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. |

| I made this with homespun in a variegated pink and 2 strands of fun fur, the candy stripes and white. I also used 15mm needles and casting on only 6 stitches. It was done in a snap and is gorgeous! I plan on making many more.
