Bette Hat
Lion Brand® LB Collection® Organic Wool
GAUGE: 14 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) with larger needles in Thermal st. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: K into st below Insert right needle into st one row below the next st on left needle. Wrap yarn and pull through st and allow st to drop from left needle.
Note: The st just made will have 2 strands wrapped around its base (one from the st that was on the left needle, and one from the st that was one row below).
PATTERN STITCHES

Thermal Stitch (worked in the rnd over an odd number of sts)

| I have made at least ten hats with this pattern. Made a few for the church bazaar in November and a few more for gifts and for grandchildren. Everyone really loved this hat. I think I have now committed this pattern to memory!
