Soft Rib Cardigan

Lion Brand® Fishermen's Wool®

GAUGE:

20 sts + 22 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) over Slip Rib pattern.

When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Soft Rib Cardigan Reviewed by Barbara Bailey on 2013-06-18 ***
I'm still working on this project. I'm working on the shawl collar and wish the directions were a little more concise. My question is on the shawl collar "work in K2, p2rib to 2 sts before marker, sl" etc. etc. Do I move the marker or do I leave it, thereby working on the next row to 3 sts before marker, sl st., etc. It would make a big difference, but the directions are not specific enough. Anybody know?
