Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

NOTES:

Use colors as desired thoughout.

PINS
Cut pin shapes from cardboard.
Monster, Mummy, Ghost, Candy Corn, Witch Hat
Apply a small amount of glue to both sides of cardboard. Wrap yarn in desired colors around cardboard. Allow to dry.
Spider
Apply a small amount of glue to one side of cardboard. Beginning at center, glue yarn in a spiral to cover cardboard. Allow to dry.
Eyes
For Spider, Monster and Mummy eyes, knot yarn; then trim ends. Glue knot to wrapped pin. Allow to dry.
Spider Legs
Cut 8 lengths of yarn each about 2 1/2 in. (6.5 cm). Glue legs to back of wrapped pin, with 4 legs on each side. Allow to dry.

FINISHING
Glue pin back to back of wrapped pins. Allow to dry.

These were a great project for my kids ages 5 1/2, 7, 8 and 13. They had a great time! Thanks for the wonderful patterns.
