STITCH EXPLANATION:

PATTERN STITCHES
Seed Stitch (worked over an odd number of sts)
Row 1: K1, *p1, k1, rep from * across.
Row 2: K the purl sts and p the knit sts.
Rep Row 2 for Seed st.

WASHCLOTH
With A, cast on 41 sts.
Rows 1-6: With A, knit.
Row 7: With B, k4, work in Seed st to last 4 sts, k4.
Rows 8-14: With B, rep Row 7.
Rows 15-18: With C, rep Row 7.
Rows 19 and 20: With A, rep Row 7.
Rows 21 and 22: With C, rep Row 7.
Rows 23 and 24: With A, rep Row 7.
Rows 25-28: With C, rep Row 7.
Rows 29 and 30: With B, rep Row 7.
Rows 31 and 32: With C, rep Row 7.
Rows 33-40: With B, rep Row 7.
Working in reverse order, rep Rows 32-1.
